I thought I would include my self as well. I am from California and have been working in the field of education for 26 years. I opened Elan Esprit Preschool (originally known as Candy's school) in 1986. I have done a great deal of study in many areas. Some of them are Early Childhood Education, how to run an organization, marketing, desktop publishing, business, running a lower school, ethics and integrity, how to study, communication skills, writing, how to bring spiritual ideas into fruitition, administration, how to debug a student and how to successfully teach any subject to your children. My hobbies are reading, biking, crafts, photography and coming up with bright new ideas. I have three sons and one grandaughter. My dreams for the future are too numerous to cover here, but they all lead to helping thousands of children and parents. We welcome you to our adventure!

Diana is from Montana. She has done extensive training at several institutions in the education of children on everything from academics, to music. Diana has worked with children for 40 years, and has been working with Elan Esprit Preschool for 13 years. Out of the classroom Diana hikes, bikes, roller skates, ice skates, does rope climbing and more. She is George's mommy (the iguana) and has been for many years! Diana has 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren. Amazing huh? She loves art and spends lots of time on school projects. Diana's dream for the future is expanding Elan Esprit Preschool.

I'm Vanessa Lanip. I was born in the Philippines, but have been living in CA. I have been working at Elan Esprit for almost 4 years, and I am currently a senior at San Jose State University, majoring in nursing. Some of my hobbies include drawing, reading, singing, dancing, and watching movies. My special interests are children, art, ancient history, music, dance, and sports; I enjoy badminton, street hockey, basketball, volleyball, and going to Sharks games. Someday, I would like to learn more about painting, sculpting, and playing the guitar, travel in Europe, and continue with French. In the future, I am hoping to become a Pediatric or a NICU nurse.

My name is Carmen Flores and I have been teaching at Elan Esprit Preschool for almost 4 1\2 years. now. I graduated from a private in school in Santa Clara and went on to obtain my early childhood education units at West Med Training as well as taking some classes at Evergreen Valley College. When I am not teaching I enjoy being with my daughter Sarah who is 11 yrs. old, reading, studying about various Mexican artists and spending time in the city with my brother and my close friends. I was born and raised in San Jose Ca, where I still live today. In the future I would like to open several other preschools all around the bay area to give more children the opportunity to learn the way our kids are learning here at Elan Esprit. I have been extremely happy at Elan Esprit and have grown so much since I have been here. It is so nice to have a job I enjoy going to every morning!

My name is Susana Alvernaz. I have been working at Elan Esprit since June of 2002. I have lived here in the bay area all of my life and love it. I am currently enrolled at Mission College and am in the process of completing my ECE units. In my free time I like traveling, spending time with my family and friends, shopping, watching movies, coloring and painting. My future plans are to obtain a bachelors degree in liberal studies from San Jose State and to eventually teach 4th or 5th grade.

I am Aateka Sultana happily married for about seven and a half years. I have two boys one is 6 and other is 3 yrs old. I am finishing my Bachelors degree from Cal State Hayward in Biological Sciences. I have worked with children for more than two years now. I have been working at Elan Esprit for one year. Before that I worked voluntarily for Kindergarten kids and as a teacher aide with the 2-3 yrs old at a private preschool. I love watching movies, listening to music and shopping.I am from Karachi, Pakistan. I am here in US for seven and half years now. I wanted to finish my Bachelors succesfully and I want to watch my kids growing big day by day. I do not have any specific hidden talent but I do love to dance, cook continental dishes, and I love to design my clothes.
